I love making veggies fritters using lots of real food and less flour.

In this recipe, actually my mom's recipe. Im amazed how it turns out. Super tasty, gluten free and most important we are using less flour as possible as we can.

The best food for us of course, eat lots of real food and Less starchy food like starch flour. Right? Hehe.

Owh, by the way, in Malaysia we called it as cucur, jemput-jemput, cekodok. And from one menu, we create various recipe with different tastes and ingredients.

Will share all of it in my other post. Feel free to find it in my blog.

So, as usual let's go straight to the recipe.

Veggies Fritters Ingredients:

  • Tofu | mashed
  • Red chili padi | sliced
  • Asparagus bean | cut to small pieces
  • Celery leaf | sliced
  • 1 whole egg
  • White rice flour
  • Potato starch | substitute can use tapioca starch/arrowroot starch
  • Mushroom seasoning | enough to taste

How to Make it:

1. For flour, use ratio 2:1 ( white rice flour : potato starch) . Quantity depends on you. Balance the quantity with other ingredients. Test fry one to know if the flour is enough to bind your fritters well
2. Mix all ingredients in a bowl. Mix it well.
3. Deep fry in a pan. It's ready when your fritters turn to brown color
